You can also get streaming P2P TV. Works a bit like Bittorrent where you upload a bit and download at the same time.

Anyway heres the channels and the different applications:

1) SOPCAST - http://www.sopcast.org/download

BBC World News
channel-[V] Music
Cinemax
ESPN
National Geographic
SportItalia
Star Sports

2) CoolStreaming - www.coolstreaming.org

ESPN
HBO
CHANNELV
Plus other asian channels

3) PPLIVE - http://www3.pplive.com/download.aspx

ESPN
National geographic
24 Hour Movie channels
Msuic Channels
Plus alot of asian channels (good ones include, hong kong movies which are subtitled)

Basics
- the more people watching, the better the quality. That's why the quality can suffer at the end of games when people start to leave.
- the pattern usually is buffering -> sound only -> sound and still picture -> sound and bad moving picture -> sound and smooth moving picture. In general, it takes about 5-10 mins to 'warm up', so connect to the stream before the game/movie etc.

You're welcome ... Smile
Here's another tip most of the servers there are overloaded but Winamp has build "auto-hammering" option so it will try to connect every sec or two ... so if you can't get too some tv just wait a few mins ...

video is great, but i don't get audio.
i tried multiple channels, getting no audio on those that use *.rm streaming. used real alternative+mpc first, but also tried real player. problem stays.

those who use *asf streaming work perfectly...any ideas?
