Awful, dreadful and worse of all, an embarrassment.
Personally, I think the blame has got to lay at the feet of Sven Goran Erikkson. His football guile and tactics havn't been the same since the Faria Alam sex incident.
Plus, this mentality in the team that nearly every forward play must go to Rooney is clearly not working either.

he should never have played Owen. Unfortunately Sven is the creator of his own downfall by attempting to appease the press. This is his major flaw. He needs to grow some balls and do whats best for the natioanl team.
