It's not made by square-enix though, it's made by tri-ace (star ocean 3, valkyrie profile creators), luckely, since square-enix have sucked quite alot latley. Hopefully FF12 and Kingdom hearts2 will change that and make square-enix the kickass company they once were.
Anyway.
I have played the JAP version and it's an awesome game that any fan of console-rpg's need to play.
This is also the beginning of a wave of awesome console-rpgs that will come to the ps2.

Has anyone else noticed that the load times are VERY SLOW with this game. It seems that STRIKE got a copy of a pre release master disk which has this known defect. The company FIXED this issue before shipping the final. : /
I hope someone releases the correct real version ..

Mmmm that is very odd. I have over 100 games burnt on this same media with no issues at all. What media are you using ? I use x8 TDK-R burnt at x2.

Just like pallebrun, my loading times are also 1-2 sec... burnt @ 2x on a Maxell DVD-R.

Btw, it's a fricking incredible game. I love how EVERYONE in this game have a daily schedule and their own personalities.
It's alot of fun to just follow these people around and see what they do. And not to forget, almost everyone can be recruited too.

You were right. It was my media. I switched to TDK+R and it is fine now.
And yes this game kicks major ass!
