Once again we're going to be waiting for those wednesdays.
I'm almost twisted here, i mean it's probably the best non-comedic tv-series i've ever seen but it torments me soooo much. The whole freaking show is made out of cliffhangers. At the end of every show you're sitting with your jaw dropped and when you realize it's over you start screaming "WHAT?! MOTHERFUCKER!"
And then you have to wait.

It's a very entertaining show but it's no classic. I personally can't wait for the new season either, however I will be hoping that the suspense can be kept whilst they give us some concrete answers.

First episode is about the hatch, second is about the people on the raft and the third explains the events in both these episodes.
As for you wanting there to be a subplot involving the people on the raft Ispep, well you may just get your wish as the majority of the cast have said that they've been filming separately from the people on the raft for 6 new episodes so far.

The tailend survivors also come into play, that Michelle Rodriguez is one of them obviously (we see her on the last episode in a flashback).
What does everyone think of the situation then? I've heard convincing theories that it's nanotechnology. It would explain the mist of black clouds. But not much else - especially all the contrivedness of it all.

U know, I thought this show was crap
but yesterday they played the whole first season on some cable channel, a marathon thing, and I watched....Im fuckin hooked. Its interesting, and very gripping I'd say. Although, I hate a couple of the ppl...that guy from LOTR...I wish I could kick his face in lol he just annoys me so much.
Anyway, I cant wait till wednesday already have it set to record, on the dvr
See the new show thats coming out after Lost? Invasion - bout some body snatcher's type shit, looks awesome too...see, this type of tv is cool - like mini movies and stuff...not all these gay ass sitcoms and "reality" shows...

After watching the the first Episodes in Germany i "sucked" the whole thing from the net (...or what was availible at this point).
Now that i'm sitting dry for a while, i can't wait to see the 2nd Season!
..Damn!! I'm used to watch 3 eps. per viewing-session. Now i have to stick to the weekly releases (what sucks a little bit).

ugh. do they still do massivecxliff-hangers at commersial brakes and end of show, just to start of next time like nothing ever happened?
thats why i stopped watching it after about 10 episodes. i just couldnt take any more of that. everytime i thought the show would turn to something good, it was always the same boring beach life that continued.

I tried episode 1 a while back when it first came out (due to the hype surrounding it). Didn't think much of it. Tried watching it again on tv but still thought nothing special.
Seems like EVERY person in the world likes this. Am I missing something here. Is it worth dl season 1 and forcing myself to watch it or should I quit now and forever feel like the guy who just doesn't get the joke that everyone else finds so amusing?

I think the first like 10 episodes or so were kinda slow. Good but not great. Then around episode 10 it got great IMO.

Yeah, that pisses me off to. But I watched all of season 1 in a row so it wasnt to bad.... hopefully, they dont do that shit again...I dont wanna wait a fuckin week to see what happens....kinda like Rome. They make u think something wicked is gunna happen in the episode ur watching, but it doesnt until the following episode/week...but thats why Im recording it all |

if they dont start wrapping at least one aspect of the story they're gonna start losing viewers.
1st season had at least 5 mysteries:
1. numbers
2. monster (which was sorta abandoned)
3. hatch
4. the island itself
5. the others
non of which was explained in the finale.
i expect them to at least explain ONE thing to us.

thats so true...I wonder who the other's are? Its either those pirate dudes who stole the black guy's kid, or its some kinda paranormal thing (and need boys as a sacrfice or something?).
It kinda got me bent when those 2 guys found the black smoke and it was nothing...lol I thought there was like one more hour left in the show when the final episode ended...didn't explain anything. No hatch, no island, no others etc etc and only had me wondering even more...what happened/whats the deal with the kid who was kidnapped? |

Well "the others" are the people who were on the island before them. The hatch will be explained in the first couple of episodes of the new season.

It's of course easy to point out the things that they DIDN'T tell us. But remember we got answers to:
1. Who the french woman was.
2. Who burned the raft.
There are alot of more, but those are the big answers. Why are they big? Because if we wouldnt have known those then they would belong among the ones we wanted answers to.

The huge guy that won the lotto for example, the number on his lotto ticket was the number on the hatch plus with his winnings on the lotto he made a part investment in a box company if I recall correctly. Thats true too...I wanna know what the deal is with how the ppl know each other/are connected. Thats why i think there is a paranormal angle to the island/other's...cant just be fate, like they were saying in the last episode, right?
I wonder if the show tonite is gunna answer all the questions we have...be kinda hard I think to do in an hour...
So, what questions do u guy's think they are gunna answer tonite? as in completely answer. And which ones do u think they are gunna drag out?
I hope we find out what the deal is with the kid, how they're all connnected, the hatch and i wanna know who the 'Others' are.
