I've been playing with AeroFly Deluxe, which is a nice little RC plane sim. But I'd like to try something a little more advanced (better graphics and fx). I'd also like something that allows you to fly with an outside view of the plane.
I don't want anything with a steep learning curve, or something that designed for professional pilots. What do you recommend?
Flight Unlimited 2 and 3 were nice games - there old now but bumping up the res and applying full details should make the game look decent at least.
As for the game its as deep as you want to make it most people can at the very least get the plane off the ground and then cruise around the skys with ease although the intended way of doing things is to learn how to taxi and communicate with towers - the game has a full tutorial for all of that though. Theres a mission mode as well which was alot of fun the last time I played the game and theres also a glider in the game which is difficult to use but nice that they included it in the game.
Its by Looking Glass studios as well if that means anything to you, generally I think they made some of the better games available.
Theres also X-Plane and MS Flight sim as Twi^. Both of those games in my opinion can be scaled to make them as easy or hard as you like.
