Just formatted my computer and reinstalldxp, but I everytime I try to install the updates it fails? any ideas?

we need more specifics. what kind of error are you getting? did you disable some start up services that are essential to winupdate?

is your copy of Windows less-then-legal, maybe the windows authentication crap is blocking the download...
