works fine here. Games the exactly the same as the first just new maps really in the SP campaign nothing exciting. If you liked the first one more of the same should keep ya happy

How does this play in your opinion guys, is it an improvement on the first one?

I liked the first one enough to complete it within a couple of days of having it, but found that controlling the squad and flanking the germans seems incredibly linear after using the same tactics over and over again. Plus the respawning soldiers at some points weren't my cup of tea. Smile

to get this to work set your xbox to pal, IGR to no, and TSR to none.

i have my xbox set to ntsc works 100% more of the same but still pretty good.

As for framerate, the 360 version runs smooth, while the PS3 is a jaggy mess that chugs along in slow motion.

I was a fan of the first game, set it to authentic mode and you'll see how bad the game plays... all the bugs appears from no where...

Oh well I'll get this one on normal..expansion or full game?

Its a full game I guess, basically the same game but with a new story which in part takes place during the events of the previous game.

Remember in the first BIA when at the start you were playing as Baker and you were on the plane which got hit and you got thrown out of it in mid air, well in this your one of the guys that was at the back of that plane when it got hit.

I liked the first, completed it as I said but couldn't stomach anymore of this type of game to be honest. I dislike flanking the enemies constantly, the situational awareness part of the game and moving the squad - I would concede that this is probably one of the best WW2 shooters on the Xbox and its every bit as good as the PC game but just the style of gameplay doesn't interest me. I noticed that the enemies flank you back this time, some Germans ran right round the back of me and by the time I noticed them they were on top of me and the guy was slinging the butt of his rifle into my face whilst shouting obscenities. Smile

yup, i dont feel the urge to play this really either.

i beat the first 2 1/2 times around and just dont feel like playing it. it might be really good though.

Expansion means "NOT A SEQUEL" I guess lol (short terms)

It's true you don't need the original game since it's xbox, but it's still an expansion, not a SEQUEL

Cool, I loved the 1st one, why are there so few posts on evry forum board concering the game???

I like it.. adds new stuff to the main story, side elements etc

Seriously why the few comments?

no seriously, im going to give it a shot this weekend or something. ill be back!

edit: holy shit, i just read some reviews over at gamerankings.com . this game seemed to have improved every bit of it. the ai is better, and a new skirmish mode and shit. im trying this out now.

edit 2: yes it was nice. like seeing an old friend again. in skirmish there is 5 maps as american and 5 maps playing as axis/german/nazi! they all seemed big and cool and its possible to play all in different modes, and yeah in single player as well.

haha one map even had a blue sky, i cant recall ever seeing a blue sky in bia. only grey pretty much. Very Happy
