Well its got new Safedisc like NBA, Tigerwoods, etc i doubt we'll see a cracked version a couple of days or even weeks after.

That's your oppinion, which is fine. I for myself prefer FIFA and I dont talk down on PES, only PES fans talk down on FIFA. That is just lame and have nothing more to say.... |

i was a big fifa fan like u but since some years fifa is getting more and more worse !
than i tryed Pes 4 and it was fantastic

well, I played PES4 once. And almost fell laughing off my chair. The players run like they really have to go to the bathroom, as if they have a turd sticking out of their asses...But I have to agree, the physics and realism is much better in PES, but I really prefer arcade style though...

pes doesn't have the real names for all the teams, leagues, stadiums,...
pes is better in gameplay but they suck in porting to pc. all you get is a shitty ps2 port, you always get ps2 controls even when you try to change them. Note to the developers a pc doesn't have square, x, triangle buttons.
The shitty port is also for notice in the system requirements where fifa plays verry well on a low budget system on a good resolution and details on max, pes (which in my opnion is less than fifa at graphics) plays on those system like crap and a verry low framerate on the lowest resolution and details at low.
Those are 2 reasons why I still stick with fifa.
And this year's fifa is alot better than previous than previous years. Finally there's difference after some years, the gameplay comes closer to pes, pes is still better and more realistic but if fifa can keep up this positive changes it can come close or even equal to pes on that area.
And werdercanuck is right, you'll never see fifa players talk shit about pes, or the ones who like pes but it seems like pes players aren't adult enough to understand that.
Every game has his + and - and everyone has his own taste if you can't understand that and think you're taste, opinion, preferences are better than those of another you should go back to kindergarten.

PES5 has the names for the top clubs, nations and thats good enough for me.. i still play fifa and im playing fifa06 at the moment, it still has some bugs as in the demo and i thought ea where going to sort them out, ah well so much for their promise.

hockey - NHL series
Football - Madden series
Baseball - was Triple Play series. but since thats gone I'd say MVP

PES5 is obviously better than fifa 06, though fifa 06 is pretty good!
NBA 2K5/6 is wayyyy better than NBA Live 05/06, though live isn't bad..
Baseball - MVP is actually the best, it's very nice!
Hockey - no competition, NHL 2K6 is the boss!

Yeah...I think EA has the sports genre covered man...I dont see any reason to stray from their brand. 
Yeah I forgot NBA 2K6
I think its cuz they put so much effort into motion capture and the little details, it shows and thats why i prefer EA. Dont get me wrong, I'll play other brand sports games, but for instance, in terms of hockey, ive never played a better game (series) than the NHL (EA) series...back when it was on sega genesis, it was the best...still number one
