Er, Dreamfall: The Longest Journey is the game that was supposed to be out on Sept. 1, and it was delayed until Q2 2006. Whatever rip you're talking about can't be the right game.

That is a flawed logic.

The more accepted clones become, the less interest in cracking there will be.

Thats true...even i lost interest in PC games since all games are released as clones. i use to come atleast 10 times a day to see if something new was released...and now i barely come 2 times. Im more into Xbox games now...and i never thought saying this one day.

If poeple hates clones thats our opinion, tried Total Overdose and fuck up everything, sick of mounting, unmounting, start anti-blaxx, burn 4x and my medias doesnt go under 8x so im screwed...clones are too much of a hassle to me

This is a good idea, it would look better as a spreadsheet though.

It depends on the clone. I wouldn't bother with all the hoops you have to jump through to get a game as shitty as Total Overdose to work, but to complain about a clone like Dragonshard would be pretty retarded. It works perfectly with zero effort, and given how much the first patch was needed, a clone was much better than a cracked version.

nahh not true talented crackers always want to beat the latest protections with cracking methods so new tools will be made to defeat the new protections no doubt about it .
what happends if it stays uncracked then these protections will be eventualy used for the applications also ,so no doubt that these protections will be defeaten.

Basing on these data there seems to be no reason the be too optimistic for October... on the other hand: many of these unreleased games were rather unknown or trash or low budget/low quality titles.

I think hyped top titles like F.E.A.R. which are expected by billions of gamers Wink will be released, either by clone or cracked version (at least until they are protected by a new StarForce version...the case "Splinter Cell - Chaos Theory" stays in mind, of course Crying or Very sad )

Even the "uncrackable" Half Life 2 was finally working without steam shit ...well, we will see Razz

The Longest Journey is one of the best adventure games ever made. Now the same company is making the sequal to it, which is called Dreamfall - The Longest Journey. They didn't want to call it The Longest Journey 2, or something weird as The Even Longer Journey Smile
Unfortunatly Dreamfall was delayed until sometime next year Sad
Most people know this game as Dreamfall

Useless information for the day:
Before it was named Dreamfall it was codenamed Static

As long as clones are faster and dont require special hardware like those SF3 clones by Mirror i dont want any cracks thank you.

I dont think so, unless clones get to the point where every single one is mount with latest daemon, install, leave mounted and play.

But as for the cracking, I think everyone prefers a cracked release to clone, more effort, I dunno...more satisfaction. And for the crack groups, its pride and a hobby ya know - we're always gunna have cpu tech guys of all ages around, if I had the knowledge, i'd prolly crack to, just to see if I could say take down the latest starforce ya know? the scene is/will change, but we will still have the throwbacks will talent

I'll always prefer clones. It means I don't have to wait for some group to release a crackfix if its updated (sometimes they're slow, or don't ever release it).

They can crack it if they want to increase their virtual size of their virtual manhood, but for the end user, a clone is always superior (especially if a mini image can be used)
