Yea, I was thinking that too when I noticed it never got a thread, but then I decided I can't be the only person who was looking forward to this more than most of the big-name stuff this month.

Great game for strategy lovers. Russians make best and most innovative strategy games nowadays. Probably because of lower labor cost - I gues they are not profitable enough for american studios. Or maybe americans just prefer mindless shooting...

Has anyone else tried the mirror release? SR1 is working fine for me, but the SR2 serial number in the nfo is getting denied.

I was installing it this morning during a cable outage actually, so it's not phoning home. The key is just invalid I guess, probably a typo. Unless someone else has actually gotten it to work?

Yea, I finally realized that the first block of the serial was missing a character and got it right through trial and error. For those that care, insert an F as character #4 in it.

Cool game so far, I'm liking the changes they made from SR1. I think I might make an exception to my "never buy a StarForce game" rule and pick this up while gogamer still has the import on sale.

I got mine through interactcd.com (I think thats the addy)
if you don't live in the US, interact is the way to go, since gogamer doesn't seem to ship outside of the US.

The game won't run for me, Starforce keeps asking to put the cd in another drive. I've followed the instructions exactly. Anyone else having trouble still?

Same as all the other SFCure Clones for me. I have to physically disconnect my burner, use SFN to disable node (why I don't get, but it doesn't work if I skip that step), start SFCure, and then run the game and it works.

I finally got it to accept the disc by unplugging my cd burner and dvd drive and with SFN and SFCure but then it says the disc key doesn't match the inserted disc after a long validating process

there is a serial fix out.

also if you follow the steps in the nfo exactly it will work, I've seen so many people go "yeah but I used daemon tools instead of alcohol, it's the same right?" and stuff like that. It does work Wink

I did follow the steps exactly, using alcohol like it said, and I have the serial "fix" by putting in the F. Without that it would never even get to the disc verifing stage. Like I said, its complaining the key doesn't match the disc.

have you unplugged your cd/dvd drives?
have you installed the correct sfcure driver? (that means sfcure64 if your on amd64, even if you dont run win64)
also try in sfn to click "disable cdrom, disable node, disable cdrom" after starting sfcure and mounting the disk in alcohol.

I've tried everything, but i only get the "Key doesn't match inserted disc" error. Someone help Sad

I've followed every step exactly (but for some reason, unlike what the instructions for SFcure say, it never asked me to reboot when i started the sfcure driver). I unplugged my cd physically, uninstalled daemon tools, installed windows xp service pack 2 (like the nfo said), mounted the game with alcohol, used the "disable cd, disable node, disable cd" trick in SFN, and ran the SFcure driver, but nothing works Sad

Gigabyte S-Series GA-G33-DS3R, Intel C2D Quad Q6600 OC @ 3.2Ghz, 4gb Kingston PC8500 1066Mhz DDR2, Geforce 7800GTX (will get a 9800GTX when they are released), 2 x 250Gb HD's and a case with built in paper and lotion dispenser.

Weird, i have had the same problem. Not with this game but with the SFCure driver. It never asked me to reboot but it said driver installed/working correctly. I've tried all 3 versions of SFcure and sfcure 0.3 or whatever its called.
