I have a v7 Ps2. I want to get a modchip that plays all backup games without swapping, even the new games. The chip will shut it self off before it gets too hot and burns out the CPU and the chip itself won't wear down the system or the laser. In addition it will load all DVDS and backuped movies and music the same as a non-modified PS2 would. Now considering all this which mod chip should I get? I hear the DMS4 is the best chip. But can I go for a cheaper solution and meet all the requirements I listed? Please tell me which ones I should consider, look forward to hearing what you guys and gals say, thank you.

DMS4 is a very good chip, probably the best one.

But a matrix chip is also very good and not really expensive =)

I shouldn't buy a Duo 2 or Magic chip?
