Hi all,

Newbie question here. Is it possible to play online with a modded ps2? I modded my ps2 with the M2 chip a couple of years ago. It didn't come with a network adapter. I want to get into online gaming with NBA 2k6, but before I shell out for an adapter I want to know if the mod chip needs to be turned off before playing online. I don't mind buying the game if there is some kind of protection scheme involved.

Yes you can Just hold the power button for a couple of seconds when your turn on your ps2 to turn off the chip. Then you can get online.
