The demo contains a complete tutorial and one demo scenario
The English demo of The Settlers: Heritage of King is now available for download, allowing you to try out the latest installment in the award-winning series which will be released in the near future. The Settlers: Heritage of Kings will take players to a medieval setting, where they will have to re-conquer their kingdom which fell under domination of "an Evil Tyran after the death of their father, the King". For details about the game, grab our video interview with Benedikt Grindel from BlueByte. The game is scheduled for a February 2005 release.

wow, i love the Settlers, used to be one of my fave games on my old Amiga Very Happy
seen the trailer to this, looks really good. i remember the settlers was unique, probably best described as a 'god-game' (or sim game) mixed with some RTS. from the trailer it looks like they've developed the RTS element a bit more

i always wondered what happened to Blue Byte, i thought maybe they didn't exist anymore. at the start of the trailer was the UbiSoft logo and i thought, oh well Sad but then at the end - Blue Byte logo Shocked

Mutantius - thanks for finding this, been looking for a demo, could only find the german one

Pizda2 - your sig really does rock. shark repellent bat spray to the rescue!

Games sux. Its not settlers anymore, more an Age of empires clone with resource patches instead of a working infrastructure. Doesnt even have an AI in multi or skirmish. Their forum is flooded with complains. Try armies of exigo, way better.

Demo is boring after playing a while but probably because the missions are limited. I miss the area of control like in previous settlers games... now you can attack with a bunch of settlers (backed up by warriors) making cannon towers in enemies base, lol.
