sweet it's out for Ps2? I must grab this now. I heard that this game uses the old swinging from the sky instead of buildings kinda gameplay though..anyone know if that's true?

btw that cover looks really sweet.

Im glad it aint out yet I feel all gamed out, my hard drives are heaving with games and there are several that I've not even had the chance to unpack, nevermind burn and play. Plus DOW expansion is waiting to be played, same story at this time of the year every year I guess but I never get used to it. Very Happy

Just did the Training Level and you Have to Swing from the building too Smile . Seen no Sky Swinging So Far

not great reviews but will see 4 myself

As for framerate, the 360 version runs smooth, while the PS3 is a jaggy mess that chugs along in slow motion.

It's a quite fun little game. Only played for like 30min or so, but so far it seems fun.
There is 1 annoying thing though, you cant swing from wherever you want, like from a high building, the swinging happens on ground level. Sad

First 30 mins and I don't really like it. Spiderman 2 was much better all around.

Just played for 2 hours - gr8 game IMO, not really a kiddie game, I liked the challenge.

disappointing to say the least. Not a big fan of the Ultimate Spiderman comics, a diluted fastfood version of the original comics. Graphics are good, controls sucks, swinging like someone said cant be done from building tops and its difficult to control the swing unless you keep mashing the swing button to make him swing in short bursts. Its not a kiddie game though, its for teens who are not allowed to played a "M" rated game Very Happy

I thought the game was pretty good. The controls aren't bad. You can swing from high building to high building if you just hold Y while swinging and release it right. At any rate, i just beat the game and my only real gripe is how short it is. The game only took about 6-7 hrs to beat if even. Also, when are the load times everyone is moaning about? each time you start a mission or something or just when your swinging through the city?


+ Decent controls
+ Good Audio
- Voice acting (some of the quips are terrible)
- Pretty much the same mission everytime ( Chase bad guy, bad guy stop, fight bad guy)

7/10
