Just got the NOGRP release of Fable : TLC and the game runs fine on everything max besides the shadows which is 2/3 if the way, but I get a runtime error during the archery tutorial, right after the picture of the bow pops up and I've tried everything to get rid of it, restarting, changing cracks, updating drivers, and none of it works.
My specs are:
AMD 2.8ghz
ATI Radeon 9800Pro
DiamondMax 120gb HD
Windows XP SP 2
512 mb DDR RAM
VIA Sound Chipset

Oh and I have also tried disabling all sound, matching all the monitor refresh rates, reinstalling the game, but nothing seems to do the trick. I am guessing though that it has something to do with my graphics card. All videos run fine by the way.

Roadster, it isnt ur graphics card cuz when I played Fable, I had the exact same one...
I dunno, try the fable thread in PC Games, lots of tech prob solving in there if i recall correctly, nuff ppl had trouble...I didnt tho

I think a solution has been found. From what i've picked up from the official forums, it's a keyboard conflict.
In my case, i switched my keyboard back to QWERTY (i'm a Dvorak typist), and in-game switched the keys to default WASD layout (this is probably the important part). I then played through until past the part of the archery-tutorial that normally crashed, then switched keys back to what i'd previously had. It's worked fine since then.
