What is a PreBot ? is it a IRC bot that lists all releases ?

Prebots can be defined 2 ways:
*) 1 that gives pretime information of releases
*) 1 that actually loggs in to group affil sites and pre's a release.
The first type of prebot you can find in private channels (i believe there are also 1 or 2 public channels). The second type are private team bots which you can only use/see if you are part of the releasegroup that owns the bot (and i dont think you are part of any group since posting this question here).
I dont know if there are much groups who use a pre-bot, there are pre scripts availible for the pftp client used by traders/sceners.

I dont know any public chan's, i only know there are (atleast used to be) some public chan's.

Unfortunately you have to be invited in channel with good pre bots, don't know any public one, sorry, anyway it's not that usefull

Ive never had help in all the years of downloading shit off the net....its not all that difficult if u know how to use a computer and can read.....

yeah i do, i mean for the average guy downloading from time to time nforce/vcdquality/isonews is more than enough to check what's new.
If you are a scener, curry/group member then it's different but he is obviously not... s not very usefull

If you do not know; then your really SOL. Do you really think site ops want some noob?
Ive been out for a long time but as i recall, if you have no useful skills,and cannot figure these things out on your own. Why would you be wanted on a top site anyways? Its not like there is a lack of people in the world who want access. And posting on a public forum is definitly the wrong aproach. Get some hardware, or pick up X86 assemby textbook and go hard. ASM isnt that difficult. Or get at job at a cd plant, or a local distributor.

the latter is the quickest i'd say, unless u have cash and a few contacts  |
