type in irc : /msg nfo-auth auth yourloginname yourpassword

then you can join
there was a FAQ once where you could read about it...seems gone now Confused

The bot accidently turned it off awhile ago and no one really seemed to notice since we all did the login thing no matter what. It was finally noticed and fixed though.
