i just got this working
as i think there is a problem with the sfcure drivers you get with the game
so i downloaded the one from gameburnworld.com called (StarForceAntiFileSystemBlocker)
wich apears to be a later version of fscure..
also got it working without fisicaly removing ide cables from cd/dvd

Hmmm, so there's 3? So far, the dos version one ive had the most success with...cant remember which.
But nice find dude
I have a question for ya. When u used the other one, the GUI one (usually included with the mirror games, Sfasb.exe or whatever its called) and u went to install the driver, did it ever ask u for a reboot? cuz i never got that response but the program said it was installed successfully.
Does this updated version fix that or something along those lines? |

the oddest thing happened today. Codename stopped working. I had daemon tools running with one drive, but even after i disabled it, it was having none of it. Try reinstalling a few times, no cigar. Uninstalled sniper elite, reinstall sfcure, and it works fine now.
Just wondering if the crack for sniper elite messes stuff up for mirror clones or if it was the D-T drive
anyone had the same prob?

Panzers: phase two doesn't work for me. Some protection screen pops up
and then it tells me my cd-key is invalid.
Could somebody post their key maybe it's different?
How long does your protection screen last, cus mine goes on for a
couple of minutes it's crazy, what does it do this every time you enter
the game?
My proc is 3700+.

same here... i instaled panzers with sfcure instructions.. and after cople of minutes this sh...ty protection tells me that my cd key is invalid.....

Well, I rouled out the serial as the cause of the problem casue I gave it to some
other people that had the same version (but no serial) and it worked for them.
The same s..t happens with SC: chaos theory (also starforce) to a lot of people
and, like panzers, on some systems it works on others it doesn't.
Right now I gave up trying and I'm waiting for DaemonTolls4 that should (finally)
come out this month. As for you make sure you have SP2 because sfcure doesn't
work without it.
Also, panzers is a 'mirror' release and they are known for starforce protected
games that only work on some systems.

But what is the proper configuration to run panzers 2?...
i have 64 bit athlon 3000+ processor, 1gb ram, gforce 6600gt, asus a8n motherboard and audigy 2 zs audiocard....

Panzer's didnt work for me at all using any of the known methods to circumvent SF copy protection. So maybe its just a game that doesnt work on your system or something. Not all SF games work with SFcure even tho the nfo may say it does - it may have worked for the release group but that doesnt mean ur sys config is the same and will work for you.
I really wanted to play this one too, lets hope for a mini image or something of the like.

This is Starforce what good is a mini-image? I already have a full image.
Like I said get Daeomn Tools 4 when it comes out.

This is Starforce what good is a mini-image? I already have a full image.

A mini image is like a crack dude, but not a real crack so to speak. A lil file that makes the game run and u dont need the full bin/iso file, just keep the mini image on ur hd and mount that.
And who knows if Dt is gunna be able to circumvent SF...it might not be able to, or if anything, for a very short period of time (till SF updates). Im still sure it wil be impressive, but i think it may be overhyped a tad |
