Sadly, a lot of hoops to jump through to play this StarForce molested piece, just like GTR, also from SimBin.
As much as I think these two are very polished racing sims, it's not the ones I'd recommend because of the fact that they have SF. I'm sticking to other good titles, like rFactor and Richard Burns Rally, which are defintely worth the money.
Shame, really, how developers decide to ruin a perfectly fine piece of software with a much-despised protection scheme. SF isn't getting a dime from my pocket, that's for sure.

Yes,
1) you have to disable your real IDE CD-ROM (1st starforce check : if IDE drive is present, disable starting from SCSI drive)
2) Disable node (2nd starforce check : Is it a virtual scsi drive ?)
3) Test the media (3rd starforce check), after a long waiting--->problem or reboot
SFCure bypass the third point

just unplug the real cd/dvd players and the game works fine. Bad thing is that this game sux....just played it this morning for like 30 minutes and it's not the racing game i like.

When are they gonna stop releasing these type of releases?
I don't even call it a proper release, are these groups to lazy or what?
Make proper cracks for crying out loud!

if u can choose between a reloaded cracked version or a sfcure one of course reloaded is the one to get.
but u have to choose between sfcure version or not having the game at all.... guess scure is not that bad after all. what u think?

No I don't even download those crappy sfcure releases, I'm not addicted to gaming.
And if I test the game and like it i'll buy it, waste of time to try and play sfcure releases...
But Reloded releases are like retail, install'n'play!
SFCure isn't good quality...

Thats wierd, i cant get the game to work with sfcure. Scct and trackmania work fine, but when i start gt legends it just says "error, insert disc into another drive".
Yes it has a cd key, its in the nfo.

Sure it's more work to get the game working, but it's works, that's the most important thing. And if you buy games, why are you complaining here then? If you are not a gamer, what are you doing on this forum then? Just telling us you don't like SFCure releases....???

or unplug bot cables IDE AND power, it works fine then too.....

Hey guys!
first post for me, im in need of some urgent help!
I really want to get this game to work, ive tried all the steps in the info for like a million times... always ending up with the protection system saying something like "error, insert disc into another drive".
i read that a few of you people unplugged your cd/dvd drives, so i did that, but now the protection system says "The disc key you entered does not correspond to the disc in the drive"??
Im positive i´ve used the correct serial from the Nfo.
What am i doing wrong? Any help appriciated!

I dont see why i have to unplug my dvd drive, scct and trackmania worked with it plugged in. But after unplugging it gt legends works, didnt have to disabled anything with sfnightmare.

Can't get ONE of these Starforce clones working, and yes I can follow simple instructions, not a n00b, just fails protection check on every single game.
Still, leeched in anticipation of Daemon Tools v4.

This worked for me without SFCure. You only need Starforce Nightmare and the starforce drivers which comes with the game. That means you can play it on w2k.
You must just uninstall SF drivers and then install the game, run it, reboot when asked, then disable CD, node and the ata channel, on which are your cd/dvd-drive(s) connected.

cd's seems not as good as mirror's, but sfcure dvd are exaclty the same, there only one way to make perfect mds

This one also works fine for me ... dunno what you're doing wrong ...
Played it for a bit, but didn't like it as much as GTR ...
Maybe i'll give it another go when there's cheat or something to unlock all cars ... i hate it when you only get 2 cars ...
Fuck that, i ain't playing a game to unlock shit, i want everything so i can test it properly ...
