Features:

wow this must surely suck, a twitch shooter will never work on the console given the controller's accuracy. Must be a way to make some quik bucks fromt he console kiddies!!!!

Thats why like alot of console FPS games it has a degree of auto aim. Also "Darkwatch" and the "Timesplitters" series of games which like this have waves of enemies and could be classed as "twitch" shooters have proven that this sort of thing can work on consoles. Each to their own opinion though.

I bought both Serious Sam and Second Encounter on the PC and then also got the Xbox version of Serious Sam when that came out, all things considered the Xbox version is a pretty good conversion of the game so I don't see any reasons why Serious Sam 2 wouldn't work on a console. Smile

Im not sold on Serious Sam 2 personally, from what I played of the demo it seemed devoid of any of the humour or charm that the original had, some of the weapons seemed useless to the point where I wondered why they were even included and the ragdoll physics are shit (if there even are any on the enemy models when you blow them up). Im not sure about that new look he seems to be sporting as well. I'll reserve judgement though co-op was always a blast in this game. Very Happy

i can assure you, that i would beat the shit out of you in halo2 and/or serious sam on xbox! Wink this kind of talking only comes from peoples mouth that never gave such games a chance on a console. i got a lot of friends who WERE thinking the same way like you. and now i can´t get them out of my flat! Very Happy you got to keep in mind, that all console gamers are playing under the same environment. so everbody is having the same chance to kill/frag whatever. give it a chance and try it out by yourself you singstar sissy! *joking* Very Happy

Not talking abt Multiplayer at all. wait till you try out SS2 on the PC and then let me know which one was a rocking experience. Halo 1 and 2 might be godly games on the xbox but to tell you the truth, other than being a decent porting effort, Halo on the PC was just sucky.

i dunno why halo was ever touted as being so good cuz it isnt. as for this game its ok, its a pickup and play type of game. More old skool if anything. With next weeks mammoth PC rls schedule, and a few games left for xbox this yr i dont think i'll be playing this much at all.
