I was watching some stand up comedian on tv a few mins ago right. He was talking about how when guys go shopping, they know exactly what they want, what store its in and spend no more than 15minutes in the store/mall. Where as women browse for hours and look at everything under sun.
I wanna know if this is true, and since we are all basically guys here (besides Jenni), i wanna know how yall shop.
Me, im exactly the way the guy said. I know what i want, what store has it, how much it costs and if its in stock before I head out to the store. One, i hate malls and department stores, so many annoying ppl and two, it prevents me from wasting more money buying something outta impulse. Occasionally, if i go to say a cpu store to get something, i may take a look at the newest hardware out, or price some computer accessories, but thats it for browsing.
15 mins, in and out <- Dont make the obvious sexual related joke to that statement, such unoriginallity...

usually I don't spend a lot of time in the stores, in and out as fast as possible. I just don't like being around the whole situation, and the desperate housewives that are out on the prowl.
Usually I spend a month or so scoping the market and gathering info before I make a purchase, at least for most of my purchases (they are expensive items). But for the mundane everyday crap.. less time I spend shopping means the more time I can spend doing something I like. Whenever a girl invites me to go shopping with her, or tries to tack it onto the daily agenda.. forget that. swift kick in the butt and she's on her own
piracy isn't a hobby, it's a way of life

I always do research and make sure I know what I'm buying. I won't go out and buy a few knick knacks here and there. Even when I go buy games, I like to save my pennies and buy 5 or 6 at once, unless its a big deal, like half life 2 or whatever. But I've noticed a lot of the male purchases are more expensive than female purchases. High quality televisions, fast computers and cars.

lol that reminds me of a Dave Chapelle joke...A Woman's test in life is acquisition and a man's test in life is a woman - guys buy nice shit cause women like nice shit - IE fast cards, nice houses, comfortable beds etc...he then goes on to say if a guy could fuck a woman in a card board box, we wouldnt buy a house or expensive car
Its kinda true...I do like my electronic shit tho, so no matter what I'd still buy top of the line tv's, stereo's etc...i dont have to spend any money on gas or insurance, so i have money to waste sometimes..

Dave Chapelle: Killin Em Softly
Its old, but really funny his newer stand up act (its on TMN all the time) is funnier tho I'd say

Aww, that sucks man digital cable and the PVR digital cable shit is cheap, and i think cogeco has their own pvr digital cable service...u'll prolly get a deal too cuz u use them for internet access
It costs me about $98 a month for pvr digital cable w/ all the channels - including timeshifting and shit - after tax...the most ive ever payed (cuz I watched alot of ppv movies) was $200 - not to bad
Well, if u could help me figure out how to vid cap my box, I could help ya out with shit ya dont get on tv
Thats not a nono right? asking for help for vid capping?
Mods - if it is, lemme know and i will edit.

I still live at home with my family. I looked into the cogeco digital cable and whatnot. It would only cost us $100 more or so a year for the service, but then we have to pay $5 more per month, per TV. This house has 5 TV's, so it'd be another $20 per month for each of the other TV's. Looking at $300 more per year. Something that's not in the cards for an out of work high school grad, and single, moderate to low income woman.

Yea I know, but to have the cable on each of the other TV's, we'd need to pay extra.

When i shop for clothes i can take alot of time. Mostly because two of my friends work at the stores i shop in. Also i like having the newest shit, always been that way, always will be. Doesnt matter if it's having the newest game or movie first from a site or having the newest t-shirt or jeans. Therefor i spend alot of time hanging at places like Nforce and the stores where my friends work.
I'm a most-possesions-when-you-die-wins kinda guy.

I suppose that's one way of living your life. Certainly not for me. I've always been curious as to the views you'd have on people that don't have a lot of stuff, but are just as happy.. do you feel sorry for them?
