ive recently bought this graphic card.
first thing i did was to install FEAR and tried it out.. in the benchmark test in the game on high settings i got
0% under 25FPS
2% between 25-40fps
98% over 40FPS
with these results i started the game. i thought the game was gonna run smooth as baby ass... but everytime i enter a room or a new scene in the game.. theres stuttering thats prettty annoying. it doesnt matter how much i lower the graphics .. still stuttering in the game... i ve read that theres many having this problem... is it the game, ATI driver or is the graphic card just shit???... other games that also suffers with these problems is halflife 2 source engine... and battlefield 2... i could run FEAR with my old 9800pro 128 without no stuttering... so i dont have a clue on this one... noticed stuttering in halflife 2 also... and same there.. that game was running pretty fine on my old card.
my comp specs are. intel pentium 3,2 1gig ram 430w antec power supply, asus xt850xt PE
Thx in advance for help

i found a way.... it seeems to be the texture resolution that seems to drag down the game in the mudd.. i tried a tip from gamspot tweak... lower testure resolution to minimum.. and then u can set almost everything else to medium-maximum... no softshadow..but 2 anti and 4 aniso.. small stuttering once in a while... but huge difference... test it..
i also have the sound on only eax 2

Umm, i run FEAR at semi-high settings (Some at maximum, some medium) And it runs pretty smoothly with my setup: P4 2.6 Ghz, 1 gb RAM and a ATi Radeon 9800XT 256 Mb.
Watercooled 5950X | AORUS Master X570 | Asus RTX 3090 TUF Gaming OC | 64Gb RAM | 1Tb 970 Evo Plus + 2Tb 660p | etc etc
