I've burnt a few games with 3 coasters already. I've been using TDK DVD-R, IOMAGIC 16X burner and a H2O modchip. When I try to load Tekken 5 and Time Crisis 3 it says to please insert a PS2 game. Does that mean my burner is bad, TDK media is bad, my modchip doesn't really work with every copy, or I just happened to have a few bad discs in my spindle?

Yea, of course, I use only 8x and 16x, burn games at 4x with alcohol or nero

Are you sure they're coasters? Maybe it's your Playstation's laser.

The guy who modded my PS2 actually adjusted the laser because it was a little off. I got most games to work though. He told me other customers had working copies of Tekken 5.
