UFO Aftershock demo here i cum!! Man i loved UFO Aftermath, everyone just "whine whine it aint as good as UFO Enemy Unknown whine whine", well it never was supposed to be, a completely own genre, altough same basics.

Man i loved UFO Aftermath, the atmosphere, the music, omfg, some sleepless nights there kicking reticulan ass and getting so excited the first time you shot down and entered one of their saucers only to get OWNED by their damn energy minigun-lookalike Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 RAM: 4gb Kingmax DDR2 800mhz Video: Asus GeForce 250GTS 1gb Sound: Asus Xonar.

OMG NO!! It..... it sucked :S what?
No weapon sounds, no impact sounds, the music is completely and utterly out of beat, no melody like in the original, and the graphics, well it wont go higher than 1024x768 :S
Lol this is really odd, must be like a beta code by accident or something, wishful thinking..
And i lost my mouse cursor so i had to reboot, lol
No it cant be, i gotta give it another go this cant be true, such a wonderful game and this is called the sequel?

I'm assuming UFO Aftershock uses StarForce since even the demo uses it (why on Earth would you want to SF-protect a friggin' demo?!). Too bad, being an X-COM veteran, it sounded interesting. Sad

otherwise , they may use the exe from the demo for the retail release .

someone should crack that demo. Surprised
or clonecd would be nice.

I know, but replacing a full game's EXE with the demo one almost never works (see Cossacks II).

Damn.......that Land of the Dead demo is bad, I had worries about this game when I saw that Groove Games were bringing it out and the demo confirms my fears.

Its pure shit nothing good about the game whatsoever. Crying or Very sad

Omg yes a reboot of the game enabled AA and setting the audio to simple accelration in dxdiag fixed the sounds =D
Aaaaahhh i knew it must have been my system and not the game Very Happy gawd nice subtle bloom effects.

Yes it is starforce, but they were stupid enugh to release a demo! Every starforce game that has been released by say Reloaded, always had an unprotected demo before it, dunno why, i guess its way easier for crackers to compare and see what and where the protection lies and annihilate it!! Very Happy
