The new Jamie Bondie is announced!
http://www.cnn.com/2005/SHOWBIZ/Movies/10/14/new.bond.actor/index.html
"James Bond goes blond as Daniel Craig takes over the role."
About Hitman: Movie (2007)
Vin Diesel is a hardcore gamer, and absolutely loves the Hitman series. For that reason I have faith that he wont destroy the movie.
Response: Well, Uwe Boll probably loved the Alone in the Dark games.

Yea, its retarded. Guarantee the next one BLOWS. I would have liked to see Clive Owen as the next bond. He really is a solid actor and his role in Sin City gave him big name recognition. I hate how the bond franchise likes to pick actors out of relative obscurity and make them big (sometimes anyway)

I've not liked any of his work at all and I dont think he's 'cool' enough to be james bond nor is he good looking enough. (not in a gay way). They'll prolly try to touch into his 'rugged bad' side or something idk but I just prefer the old style of 'fuck the bitches and save the world from some mad russian with some fancy gadgets and a sweet car'

A Blonde Bond? Doesn't work out.
And yea, Clive Owen would be great as the next James Bond.

Clive Owen? U mean, the guy from King Arthur? Mr. No facial expression whatsoever/bad actor?
We had a thread about him a while ago...he doesn't convey ANY type of emotion at all...whether he's in a sex scene or supposed to be killing someone, he always has this "Im a dumb fuck and Im lost" look on his face...
On topic
Yep, the new bond is gunna suck - but truth be told, ive never really like pierce brosnan (spelling?). Roger Moore and Sean Connery are my 2 favourites bonds - I think Sean C. has another bond film in him

No...its even worse than that
I dunno, he's just one of those actors that really, really annoy's me. Everything about him is fuckin annoying - his acting, his voice, the way he looks - everything.
Like fuck, im gettin kinda steamed up just thinking about him I swear i'd take a swing at him if i met him in person. Might knock some expression into him

He was easily one of the best characters in that movie. I mean the role itself is incredible. I guess I don't get hung up on past roles an actor has. I let them have a fresh slate at the beginning of every movie.

I think Clive Owen would have done well as James Bond. Check out the movie "Croupier" to see him in a good role (set in a casino also). I also liked his character in "Closer".
As for Daniel Craig, well I'm sure he'll do a good job. He did well in "Layer Cake" and his bit role in "The Jacket". I'm looking forward to seeing him as Bond. Can't be as bad as the dude who's gonna play Superman.

IMDb wrote: | Craig Was First Choice Bond
Daniel Craig was the producers' first choice to replace Pierce Brosnan as James Bond, dispelling reports that the prestigious role had been turned down by other actors during the protracted selection process. Producer Michael G. Wilson told Friday's press conference in London that he spent two years searching for the new British superspy, and a host of contenders including Clive Owen, Hugh Jackman and Ewan McGregor were not offered the part in Casino Royale. Wilson said, "(Daniel Craig) was the only one we offered the film to. There's been some speculation that we offered it to other people but that's not accurate." The 37-year-old, who will be the first blond Bond, is expected to portray a stripped down Bond in what is expected to be a darker exploration of the world of espionage. Craig added, "I want to take Bond somewhere he's never been before." |
