I recently downloaded Quake 4 CloneCD. I extracted and mounted it using the newest Alcohol, at first I used the reloaded keygen, and the install process completed.
Then, I downloaded the nodvd crack (Deviance) and when i clicked the Quake4.exe file the splash screen appears, but nothing happens.
So i uninstalled it, and reinstalled it using the Deviance key. Same thing happens when I try to play the game.
I've blocked the Quake4.exe file using my firewall.
I've downloaded the AL sound thingy, doesn't work
tried Antiblaxx, doesnt work.
Any ideas? Any and all help is appreciated!=)

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I've also tried both the "skull" cracks

can you play doom3?
try updating your drivers or post your specs.

use this :
SafeDisc.4.Hider-SKULL
or use this:
QUAKE.4.NOCDKEY-DEViANCE
Quake.4.KEYCHECK.FiXED-SKULL
Quake.4.Public.Server.Patch-VASELiNE
Quake.4.MiNi.iMAGE-SKULL
QUAKE.4.PROPER.CRACK-DSM
and i recommand you to use the keygen:
Quake.4.KEYGEN-RELOADED
to cange your cd key after installing the game , do this:
go to C:\Program Files\id Software\Quake 4\q4base
and edit the file quake4key . and change the key , use the keygem without the "-"
also try to add this in the end of your host file in X:\\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc:
127.0.0.1 q4master.idsoftware.com
127.0.0.1 idnet.ua-corp.com
try block your Quake4.exe by firewall .
or use Anti blaxx.

tried all
the game wont start when i'm online
but when i'm not connected it works

Heya!
Thanks for all the solutions, I managed to solve the problem. I have no idea if this affects everyone, but it did affect me. I used the Radeon Omega drivers, when I reinstalled the official catalyst drivers, everything worked flawlessly. So, if anyone encounters the same problem as I did, reinstall the official drivers, it might help!.
And thanks again to everyone who replied with a possible solution=)
