When I first knew that there would be an X3, I just replayed X2 for over 2 weeks in a row, X2 really was the best space sim I've ever seen, after I knew that X3 was finished and shipping for beta testers, each day has been an endless wait, hope this game will be release during the next days, It's really a mind blowing game...

I played X2 for a while, but due to my modest PC at that time, there was no way for me to reach the end of the game. Is there any plot that I should be aware of for playing X3? It would be nice if someone who played X2 recently could post what happened in that game, so I won't be so lost in the sequel.
