Damn nice screenshot! Love that sword! I used to play WoW till I got bored. Is that addon an official Blizzard expansion? Im considering giving EQ2 a go!

They won't, but you have to purchase the expansion. Probably for 29.99USD. Maybe 39.99.

lol, they just want more money...
i mean, for games like GW or diablo 2 to have expansions i understand, since there is no monthly fee, but for games like WoW where there is one suscribers shouldn't have to pay for expansion, especialy in WoW where there is a HUGE player base and Blizz is rich...
but what can ya do lol...thou i can see why they are doing this, they are releasing a expansion probalby just to get people hyped again, instead of releasing in a patch that not alot of people who doesn't play WoW anymore would hear about.

Dude wtf. Of course they will do an expansion. Let me tell you about the MMO-world. They earn alot from monthly fees but they also have to have servers running, have game-masters, have accounting for the fees coming in, do patches, etc etc. Sure they earn money but it's in no way a pure-profit business. Expansions usually cost what, 30$ which is nothing for the content you get. I played WoW a good while ago, got to lvl 60, was among the top ten on my server and i found it a very good PvE game but got very disappointed at the PvP-elements and decided to quit. The fact that they havent released an expansion in this amount of time tells me something. It tells me that they have been working hard on improving their game and keeping the customers happy. Opposed to say BF2 which still has bugs but decide to instead of concentrating on fixing those problems work on releasing an expansion as quick as possible JUST to milk that cash cow. A thing that Blizzard never did. WoW was released (roughly) eight months ago and BF2 was released (again roughly) three months ago.
You should just do some research before ever speaking again CLDragon because of what i've seen of you so far you just come of as a i-think-i-know-it-all-kid.

I disagree. It means I can bitch and moan if they fuck around with the servers. I'd rather have security my account is safe and the server is stable, and my character is in tact and have to pay, than have all those things bad and not pay. Especially in a fabulous game like WoW.

U pay for what ? the extra service? So when they update the servers its in the night? no its(last time i looked) ON A FUCKING FRIDAY LOL #2
U pay for what? the many different quest there are in the game ? Travel(aprox 1 hour), kill, collect, travel back... LOL #3

1. Torrents suck indeed but when U do a little search U can download the patch somewhere else , plus U should save the patches so when u reinstall U dont have to download a 200mb patch.
2. Dont know when U last played but the friday maintenace went to wednesday and that was MONTHS ago.
3. No u pay for the servers , the extra content etc etc , patches etc etc .
4. I know U didnt had a 4th but before u comment do a little search before U start talking from that blackspot where the sun doesnt shine.

I fucking hate WoW aswell.
They just repackage other people's content (how many of those features in WoW do you accualty think they came up with? Hint: It's alot less than you think) and the server issues on release! Having to pull the game from shelves! It's just not cricket.
Ontop of that, some of their employees decide to leave and what do they do? Steal their fucking ideas and repackage them into an expansion.
Not to mention all the mass-marketed kiddy-friendly shit they cover.
Go fuck yourselves blizzard.

WOW is quite a pretty game. However i wouldnt pay for it over the course of a year I'd rather cut of my own arm and eat it. Some of the free servers are pretty good but to be honest I can't be bothered spending however many levels leveling up just so i can kill some crappy troll

Wow, some of you act like you've never heard of an expansion before... or even how MMOs work.
They have been doing this very same practice since UO and EQ (more so EQ with its 3458039485234895834583459 expansions).
