Someone submit the idea to make like on VCDQuality and the first 10 post most be moderate, i think that should clear all the stupid request by noobies since they use their first 5 post to ask retarded things

It's a good idea, but would require a lot of moderation. When i've posted on baords that need moderation it gets a little frustrating waiting for my post to appear.

It's more welcoming to people if they can post straight away. There's not too many people that choose to request stupid things etc...

** Gets my thinking cap on...

Maybe someone else can say what they think? Smile

That's total bullshit, and you'd know it if you actually paid attention to the Game-forum.
Nearly every thread is littered with off-topic crap (such as requests, flames, etc.) -particularly- from 0-10 posters.

Yes, yes I'm back.

Well thanks for the comment, you know there is a report thread button right? Smile We are all human at the end of the day so there will be missed posts.

My point of view is stating that this should be friendly to an extent and available to everyone. I personally wouldnt post at a board if my posts were edited for the first 10 times and im sure there's others that agree.

There's always two sides to a story so im trying to think what would I think if I came to this site and registered for the first time. There will always be newbies requesting, that is relating back to the start of piracy and if you are looking for somewhere thats free of that a private board would be an answer...

However I do think idea's like this post is a good idea as it raises the awareness of a problem which in due cause we can try to iradicate etc...

Well thats my two pounds Smile

I've reported on several occasions, and when nothing has happened for five days in the thread, I simply think: "They don't really care anyway".

This post for instance:
http://nforce.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?p=250368&highlight=#250368

Someone asking for a cracked exe, and it's still unmoderated (Since Oct 22).

Then you have "trusted" moderators that moderate with their ass (no names now), and lots of regulars on the forum agree they shouldn't have been mods in the first place.

Ten post limit certainly is no guarantee that people won't still post shit, it will just make it a little harder since they're limited to one section (Newbie-area) for the first ten posts.

Exactly cause in 75% of the time, they use their first post to request or ask retarded questions and it gets REALLY ANNOYING for us that come 20 times a day in the forum and we have to deal with all this crap on 3 pages.

I see your point, but will obviously disagree with the quote Wink

There does seem to be a few inactive mods etc... and I can assure you that this is being discussed. However for the time being it's trying to find a solution to the problem.

However I do believe people shouldnt regard moderators as in a trusted / untrusted mannor.
Thats evading the issue and pointing fingers which is really up to the administrators of the site to deal with at their discretion.

I did take the opportunity to moderate that post, but I see where you are coming from - another issue that could be raised is how the report post button functions... maybe it's not as clear as we all hope...?

I can see people becoming more and more frustrated but how can this be avoided if the issue was never brought up here or to the attention of staff members of the board...

I guess any idea is worth a go, and I can see the moderation thing working - maybe it would make the board atmosphere a bit better? however I'm concerned about the newbies that do make sensible posts, would it put them off?

Thats the down side...every war got his innocent victims Wink but ask any of the regular and mods and they will all agreed that reatrded noob issue is serious and some action need to be taken fast.

I was so tired to tell to fuck off and read the rules that i had to make a big set of "STFU NOOB" pics to post instead of flamming. This forum need hard ass moderation and its even worst when its the "big games release" season.

This matter cant be discuss...it need affirmative action.

If a smart noob register, he will wait, retarded noob will leave cause he cant post his shit
