This one looks amazing. I didn't really liked X2, I found it to be unfinished. But the first game was excellent, I hope this one is more similar to the first then the second.

Unfortunately, if the same situation occurs as X2, we could be waiting a while.
Wasn't there a few problems with no-cd patches not fully cracked? I guess mounting it will avoid this I hope!

It's a good thing this will be released before Oblivion, because when that time comes there won't be room for any other game.

Ugh, more single player nonsense? Booo.
Freelancer had the right idea, I hope more games take that route in the future.

Freelancer was good but there was no first person from the cockpit view, that's what let it down for me.

You're right, Freelancer was lacking in the true space sim kinda' mechanic, I just really loved the idea that anyone could host their own mini mmo.
And then you have a game like the X series here, with awesome everything, yet single player.
I'm waiting for the amazing combination of the two.. how much would that rock.
Anyone hosting a persistent state multiplayer X3 environment..oh I can dream...
