So I'm sitting here surfing and have a few things running....firefox,mirc,messenger etc...I go to minimize mirc and BAM it disappears.I check task manager and sure enough it's still running but nowhere to be seen on my desktop.I open another instance of mirc and check and sure enough I'm still connected.Then I minimize firefox and Bam it disappears also....WTF??????I say.Anyway anyone have this happen ever or heard about it...any ideas????Yes I'm running windoze XP sp2
restart, delete sp2 (it sucks too much) reinstall xp, run some scanners
I've ran XP2 for quite some time and have never had this issue. Perhaps you do have some sort of virus/malware though that's causing this problem. I would suggest scanning before immediately removing SP2...I think it's a scape goat for too many problems.
