I got a real annoying problem with Windows XP now, whenever I terminate a program I get a horrible little error box that tells me some memory adress can't be read. This problem just occured last night, nothing has been installed.

Anyone have a clue to what this is & how I solve it?

Maybe translate the error message to English as swedish/nordish/finnish/danish (all look alike to me ) is not the native language of too many people here Wink

Hmm, difficult to say.

Maybe check the basic points e.g. enough HD space, enough virtual memory set, whats running in the system processes, Whats the spec of the computer?

Also virus check and spyware check.

See if anything looks abnormal in the system processes e.g. any unusual apps running.

Maybe someone has more of a solution, but I always check the basics first.

It could be a faulty memory-stick, try running a memtest. Also it could also just be a fucked up XP installation. Smile

Problem has vanished in Win2K, it was a corrupt XP.
If a memory stick had been broken I would have noticed some downgrade in preformance in 3DMarks.
