does anyone know when its planned to be released?
My System:
CPU : AMD "Barton" 2500+.
Memory : 768MB DDR PC2100.
GFX : Nvidia 6600GT DDR3 128MB , AGPx8
M\B: Gigabyte GA-7VT600P-RZ MotherBoard
Sound: AC97 Realteck 5.1 ALC655 - Audio.

i strongly dubt that they use that kind of "please insert cd" protection on antivirus software.

I hope they release it someday...2005 is getting old

no it wont be cracked ... the option to activate by phone is not available anymore ... just like sony beated us with firmware 2.x, symantec did the same with norton 2006

You are wrong. Phone activation is still available. How do I know? I own the software.

There still is an option for the Activation by Phone according to the symantec website support which was last updated 11/07/05. It is for those people who have problem connecting to the internet or their activation won't work doing it online. So I am stilll waiting for it to be released...I don't know what's keeping the crackers..

NIS 2006 has a phone activation, but not in the trial version; Get the ISO release and block the software with a FireWall, try to activate it [should be failed] and then, you can choose an activation via the phone.
Where the hell are TMG || SSG? NIS 2005 is getting old... :S

no reason to download NIS2006 ... if it doesnt have its own keygen..so u wont be able to activate it.
waiting for a release.

maybe...but not when it comes to NIS2006

FYI,.... I released a working package of nis 2006 - retail. It has a working serial amd a working activate by phone challenge code. goto http://www.ihaven'treadtherulesmybad.noob for the copy it's making it's circulation around the internet as I type this to you all. Demenoid shows as a tracker but my post there was deleted and called a duplicate to a ESD copy.
FYI if your CD copy has the program called cdstart.exe then you already have the retail copy and all you need is a cdkey and the phone activation code.
NIS 2006 activates the same as nis 2004 and 2005.

can anyone confirm this???
I have NIS2005,and without any prob can find NIS2006...

Yeah, it's working. You need the retail version of NIS 2006 which allows phone activation. There is workaround with the activation scheme that allows you to add all zeros plus a 3-digit code to activate the product. Weird.
