 |
Hi all,
Im having some issues burning my NGC images, they burn fine, without any errors, but when they are running on modded cubes (qoobchip installed) some games freeze and others just work fine, i tried burning with nero7, dvd decrypter and sonic recordnow, and miniDVD Ritek, any software recommended for do this burning thing ? im thinking they have the same trick that the dreamcast games had to burn, just guessing, any help ?

What media are you using? Some are worse than others.

Much more info on cube modding here http://modthatcube.pxn-os.com/main.htm
Use discs with the RITEKG04 dye.
The laser may still need tweaking to read burned discs. Underneath the DVD drive is a variable resistance, lower it to 200-185 Ohms (not less, or you'll fry it), check with a multimeter.
Some older ISOs (released before the Viper chip) have garbage data removed and won't run on a chipped cube. Use a programme called FSTFIX to fill in the missing bytes. Tutorials on http://modthatcube.pxn-os.com/main.htm, as mentioned.
