If you are running RC3, then you are running 1.5 Final. They are the same.

The numerous backend changes are awesome across the board. While it's still got plenty warts, it's easily the best Windows browser in my opinion. I especially love the changes to caching.

What extensions are you running? Most of them are updated and/or can be updated manually without much fuss.

Google says that a 1.5 compatible update is out, but Mozdev.org is hosed at the moment (as are the MZ forums).
I got Download Manager Tweak 0.7 working by manually increasing the minVersion number to 1.5. Rename the .xpi to .zip, open it in your unzipper of choice and edit install.rdf.
If you aren't already, you should take a look at AdBlock Plus. It's much better.

Excellent Dr. Jones... I'll definitely check out adblock plus.

Make sure you take a look at the Filterset.G list of ad sites as well. The guy behind it manages to make the install process sound needlessly complex, but once you've got it installed it works really well and you'll be rid of most of the crud on the net with few false positives.

Firefox has a password manager, but I'm not sure how it stacks up to Opera's wand thing. It doesn't come with gestures right off the bat, but that can easily be mended with an extension.
Give it a try and see for yourself.
