I recentley downloaded the movie 'Minority Report' 2 days ago , it works fine and everything , but without audio ! ofcourse it is an audio codec problem .... but all the other movies on my HDD work fine and all except this one , so please recommend an audio codecs pack or something that i can download to hear what Cruise and Co. are saying...

Thanks man for your quick reply , but i was in that webpage even before i posted here on NForce , so which one of these programs will fix my problem ? will you point some for me please ?

Skidrow is right. Stay far away from multi-megabyte codec packs that include every codec under the sun. They'll only screw up your system and/or waste your resources.
You don't even need AC3 Filter nowadays as ffdshow comes with its own audio filter as well.
VLC is a media player that does everything "in house" and it'll probably play just about anything you throw at it. My player of choice is MPC (Media Player Classic) though.
Install VSFilter if you need subtitles (although most players come with rudimentary subtitle support, I prefer VSFilter).

Thanks guys for your beautiful and quick support , this program 'ffdshow' , solved the audio problem instantly and on the spot , without even asking me to reboot...thanks you very much once more.
