I have BF2 and BF2 SF installed and updated to 1.12 I was playing online about a week now and all of a sudden the game stops responding when I try to login ...I enter User Name and Password, It goes to connecting screen and thats when it stops responding.

I reinstalled everything and Im getting the same... Is anyone else experiencing this and if so is there a fix?

I just tried it myself and i'm now getting the same lock up as you. Hopefully someone might have a fix, if not i guess i'll have to go buy a new DVD drive to play it.

Dunno if its true or not, but it might be punkbuster and virtual drive issue.

I just read in another post that EA's server has problems, hopefully this is true...
