Onimusha.3.English-Capcom-REPACK

  • Official web page: LINK
  • Publisher: Typhoon Games
  • Developer: Capcom Production Studio 2
  • Genre: Fantasy Action Adventure
  • Release date: 2005-12-05
  • Story/Description:
    Quote:

The year is 1582. Amidst the burning ruins of the Honnoji Temple stands the famous Onimusha warrior Samanosuke Akechi. Though surrounded by countless Genma demons, Samanosuke is compelled to fight on by hatred for his true enemy, the evil Nobunaga. The long-awaited final battle looms close...

Cut to the year 2004. Policeman Jacques Blanc stares on in horror as the once peaceful Paris is suddenly transformed into a nightmarish nest of Genma demons who are slaughtering civilians and soldiers one by one. Within this nightmare appears one man; a man who stands up against the evil tide of monsters...

Why has Samanosuke suddenly appeared in modern day Paris and Jacques in feudal Japan? What fate awaits these two men?

    * The phenomenally successful world of Onimusha continues with its greatest chapter yet, Onimusha 3: Demon Siege.
    * Internationally acclaimed film star Jean Reno (Léon, Mission: Impossible, Ronin) plays Jacques Blanc, the French cop caught in the middle of a horrific attack upon Paris. Takeshi Kaneshiro (House of the Flying Daggers) returns as Akechi Samanosuke, the original Onimusha warrior who continues his campaign against his arch enemy, the evil Nobunaga.
    * Known for the outstanding quality of the opening movies, the sequences in Onimusha 3 have been pushed to a new level. Capcom has enlisted the talents of Hong Kong action star and director Donnie Yen (Blade II) as the CG action director. Also returning to the Onimusha project is ROBOT, the company responsible for making all of the previous Onimusha opening movies, as well as Yamazaki Takeshi, the CG movie director. Onimusha 3 is a collaboration of several talented people and they have delivered a masterpiece that rivals even the biggest blockbuster movies.
    * Onimusha 3 introduces a ‘dual hero’ gameplay system that offers two very different kinds of action to the player; allowing them unique ways to enjoy the game and experience two very different styles of excitement and adventure.

Yeah the game is great but PC version probably sucks monkey's balls. Capcom hates PC. Anyone remember Onimusha 1 for PC ? It only works 640x480 and its full of bugs.

It was only released in Asia so why not. There are many good PC games and we know nothing about them cuz they were only released in Asia and no English language to choose. Onimusha 3 has english thats why we talk about this game now Smile

That's good news Smile

I have a logitech rumblepad so i am pretty confident that it will work ok.I wouldn't have bothered with the download if the game did not support gamepads (like Fable PC version Rolling Eyes) .I hate playing 3rd person action games with a keyboard + mouse.

*Starts download now* Very Happy

if its the intro youre talking about, the onimusha 3 intro is graphics-wise by far the best in the world. it had me in awe first time i ve seen it and up to now as well.
no other game ever had an intro which had close as much detail as this one, hands down.

The game looks worse compared to the PS2 (tried it on fx5900) Sad
Even with high resolution it still lacks the post process effects like depth of field, found in the PS2 version. It's a good thing i'm playing it on PS2 Very Happy

Well, I have tried these NOGRP and IND versions and its utter crap, and here are the reasons:

Some things I'd like to say:

First: This game is BETTER than on PS2. Its optimized for dual-core as well as for low-end computers (has a "light mode" so that poor guys can run it like a charm as well). Supports resolution up to 1280x1024 and I think more, and it runs smoother than a baby's ass.

Second: These 3 english versions are just pathetic. For those who dont know this, I will explain it with a few facts.

1- Capcom entrusted the PC version to SOURCENEXT, and they did an AMAZING job.

2- As you can check on SOURCENEXT homepage (hxxp://www.sourcenext.com) the original retail version (the one I have) has japanese, chinese, and english menues, speech, subtitles, and CG movies.

3- Ergo, this so-called "english version" is nothing more than a ripped original version without the japanese and chinese speech, movies and menues.

4- The original retail version is DVD-ROM, which is 1.39 gb, and has autorun menu, not like this joke of a release.

5- With this version, you cannot hear the original language, only english lame language.

6- With the original retail version you can see and play the game with either english subtitles with english speech and movies, japanese speech with english subs, japanese speech with chinese subs, etc...

I hope this can clarify things a little bit.
And yes, the original DVD-ROM retail version has been released to download via either FTP or Bittorrent on several chinese forums. Please DO NOT ask me for the torrent, that is not allowed on these forums.

I just dont understand why they released this version instead of the original one that was released on chinese forums.
