Hello,

I have a problem when i try to install this game. i put it on,autorun runs,then i have to type in the cd-key, i type it in and then i get to the DirectX check. And there is where the problem starts.
It says i don't have DirectX 9.0C on my system, but i DO have it installed. I tried running the DirectX from the cd and that doesnt install because there is a version of DX9.0C installed already.
Someone told me to make the autorun.exe Windows2000 compatible,but that doesnt solve the problem either.
Anyone had the same problem as me?? and knows a solution?

Thank you very much

Fran

First run the direct X diagnostic tool;

click "Start">click "Run"> type in "dxdiag"

On the first page, under the "System" tab, you have basic info about your putter. Look for "DirectX Version" towards the bottom, it should state "DriectX 9.0c".

Now go to the second tab labeled "DirectX Files". This list all the files that are either installed or used by direct X. What you want to do is to scroll through the list and see if any of the files have an exclamation point next to them. If they do, that means somehow your DirectX installation got messed up.

Do this, let me know if they are messed up and well go from there.

Nope,none of them has an exclamation point next to it.
SO it seems that my DirectX works fine. And it is the DirectX 9.0c version

Just bring your PC over here, I'll figure it out Wink.
But seriously, I doono what could be causing that silly problem. If it was me, that OS installation would be long replaced by a fresh one Laughing.
