One of the best show this year hahaha funny as hell !
Channel 4's, brand new live entertainment format visits the final frontier by blasting a lucky team of starry-eyed applicants into space. The hand-picked group will undergo intensive training in Russia before being flown 100 kilometres up into near space. Here, they will spend up to five days orbiting the Earth, conducting experiments and quite literally watching the world go by - or will they? Unbeknown to them, they won't be in space at all... They won't even be in Russia. They'll actually be in a disused military base at a secret location somewhere in the UK, possibly the most audacious, complicated and ambitious practical joke in television history

Johnny is so funny in the time he is allowed to speak. The problem for me is that the show itself is not sophisticated or as serious as I would have originally hoped. It's too farcical. I understand that is the point but if you want to fool someone into believing they are really going into space you'd imagine they'd take a more intelligent, more subtle route to both achieving that and making a fool out of them.
Instead it's really, really, really obvious and there are far too many question marks over how much the contestants really know. For me it's just too contrived that they can be swayed by all the nonsense.

Yea they really did pick the thickest shits possible for it to work. I saw a bit the other day and they were crying over the people who have been into space  . When johnny is like "i have to speak quietly because they're in the barracks behind me" is annoying because i'm sure it's pre recorded.. and it's not as though they can hear him out there. He speaks 'normally' inside too.

That's the point, they are feeding these idiots such obvious bullshit and they swallow it all in their desperation to be famous.
Kinda ironic that this great reality show send up is being made by channel 4 who bought Big Brother to the UK.

rumor is it,that they are all actors,and the jokes on us,as several of the contestants are professional actors,and a few of there biogs have been outed,some guy was spotted on a tv ad the other day,so it could be a conspiracy theory.

Well I've just seen the Scottish guy with the big hair on a blood transfusion ad, so this theory may well be true

The other possiblity is that they are just failed or wannabe actors who signed up for a reality TV show as their jumping off point - not knowing what they were getting into until it was too late and decided to just run with it because they are desperate.

I would to see the contracts they would have signed to participate on the show.
I would be seriously pissed at getting five grand when Endermol are making hundreds of thousands.
Especially when people won't take them seriously any more.

There Z List celebs now . They should be happy at that....
And there contracts , Im pretty sure there would be plenty of small print. No doubt they rushed without reading it as they where as thick as pig shit and eager to be on tv. Can you see them seeking a solicitor to go over the paperwork ?

usually if they where normal people you would have got some very shy people... especially as this is on tv.
