|
 |
Hey there,
I am about to buy a new Slim PS2... But a friend of me, told me, that the SlideCard
can't be used with the new Slimline PS2's atm. He told me, that u have to change 3 things at the drive, so that u can open the PS2 without shutting it down...
He said that one of these 3 things is now made of stell and cant be changed....
Is this true?! Or is he just too dumb? :/
Dont wanna build a ModChip into the ps2...
Hope u can help me a bit...

well wth my silver PSTwo i use swapmagic3.6 discs and Magic Switch Pro V2 which are the 3 tools (bits of plastic), that enables the lid to be closed, you have to open the outer casing of the PSTWo to insert one of the bits of plastic but this can be done without removing the warrenty sticker

think that was before they introduced Magic Switch Pro V2 tools like i said in 1st post, if you get that then it should be fine.

no, why? - on the slimline it couldn't be easier, open flip lid then insert swapmagic and wait for load screen then disc stops spinning, take out swapmagic insert backup and press X to load.
Nothing suicide about that, lol
