This movie tells the history of a Illegal Arms Dealer that sells weapons to the leaders of the worst warzones in the world, this movie is so great because it shows just how the world really is corrupt and the hidden political interests behind everything, plus the first scene of the movie is very original and well made, it shows us the life of a bullet since the moment of their creation until the moment it's fired into the head of an african boy.
It's a really good movie and it's also an eyeopenner

I was just about to post about this!
I really enjoyed this movie. However, I think people that are heavy into politics and tend to politicize everything will be very critical of it.
However, I watched it with an open mind and really enjoyed it.
The ending is brilliant, and oh so true to how the world works.
Not to mention the actress that plays Eva Fontaine (Bridget Moynahan) is just fucking beautiful beyond words.
Highly recommended. Watch it.
Does anybody know the name of the song that plays during the beggining of the final credits when the movie ends (the guitar type jingle). It also plays in a scene right before that. I've been lookin very hard for it, but can't find a name or composer or anything? Would it be considered the main theme song of the movie? Anybody know?
*Edit* The song I am referring to is here http://www.lordofwarthemovie.com/ under Production section, TRACK 6 at the bottom of the page (the music clips player). I'm assuming its part of an OST? I must have the name...

I downloaded the OST a while ago. I think it's the last track on the cd. The title is Warlord.

Great movie, especially loved the part where the AK47 is in the spotlight, truly a great weapon.

its still the most trustworthy rifle in the world, back in the vietnam war all us troops were swapping their m60s for the enemy´s ak47s, it just never jammed.

Apparently a composer by the name of Antonio Pinto.
His IMDB listing: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0684620/
Not a very noteworthy repitoire (his only other major film being Collateral). Great score in this film IMO opinion (very soothing/unique. a good break from Zimmer). Hope to hear more of his work soon.

Hehe, true they used to drop their M16s for the AKs only it was kinda risky cause the AK has a distinct sound, so they might be seen as VC. The m16 was a massive failure in Vietnam, I think one of the biggest failures in weaponry ever. In a war even, making it much worse.

Good movie, though somewhat unrealistic in parts
for example, the scene where Interpol dude is trying to arrest Cage at Odessa's port (Ukraine) right
after the Soviet Union's collapse in 1991. Interpol wouldn't even be able to cross the Ukrainian border in 1991. Now yes, but not back then...

hmmm i know... but do you know that a man only hs a 1 chance on 50 to get aids? it wasn't even sure they had aids
but ok... I at least would look for some condoms |
I think he says that 1/4. With a threesome that puts your odds at 1/2 :O .
