hey there ppl,

Now I have my own PS2 Slim Black...
I was looking for SwapMagic, I looked through the instructions on there website
and so on...

They say, that on older PS2 u have to enter Tool C like this:

But my problem is, on my ps2, there is some metal, so, that I cannot stick the tool c in!

The ppl from SwapMagic 3 say, that U have to open the ps2 to remove the metal / build in another tool D! But then I get rid of my warranty!

Anyone knows how to apply the Tool C with the metal or how to make it work, without getting rid of warranties?!

Greets

you only void the warrenty on the ps2 if you break the warrenty seal. The warrenty seal on my slimline PSTwo and others that i have encountered ALL have the warrenty seal covering the bottom and the top casing on the back edge in a positon that still is very easy to take PSTwo apart to get inside to either install tool D or install a fliptop (i have done both to PSTwo Consoles), without damaging the seal as when you take it apart the seal stays on the bottom half and top half (open PSTwo like a hinge)

this will leave warrenty intact and looking as if its never been touched

Got a black one on the bottom of the ps2... But the ps2 is broken, doesn't start anything...

I'll give it back and try to get a 7000x without the metal thing... Maybe I am lucky...

If not, I may try it with a hairdryer or I'll let someone build a chip in... But thats very expensive Sad
