http://www.xboxhacker.net/forums/index.php?topic=76.0 well if these guys have there way we might be able to play backups with ms bios (no modchip) and play them on XBOX LIVE! im very excited about this (if it works) cos i love live so much now. will you guys use this hack?

if this was possible, dont u think xbox live wold detect the hacked firmware and maybe would want to update the system?

well you tell me, i dont know much about what the 360 can do to the dvd drive, is it a simple question of asking the dvd drive something and getting a correct responce from a unhacked drive and a different responce from the hacked drive. so if a firmware hack is successful M$ will just bring out an update and were back to square one?

yeah, m$ would probably force a mandatory update in order to get on live.
