I don't see option "I played MMO, it's a damn drug, thank God I quit it before was too late" in a poll. Well that's what I would have chosen.

How about: "I'd like to, but they're all trash."
I'd really like to get involved in a great online game, but they're all garbge. Mindless grinding to build up our virtual penises. Might have been great when I was 15, but no longer.
Until a company steps up and delivers a true MMORPG, then I won't be playing them.

I've played quite alot of them, back since Ultima Online, then to EQ, AC, DAoC, FFXI, WoW, EQ2...too many.
I play NONE right now, thank god for that. I hate being addicted to them because I play them and I find I dont have time to do anything else and I feel like shit most of the time sitting in front of a moniter all day wasting away. As much as I would like to play a new one I'm glad theres nothing new out and not much on the horizon.

Yeh, well i just feel that i get alot more game for my money with a MMO. And i love the thrill of getting a new Level, some new equip etc. Also its often that a MMO community is better then the community of a "regular" game, even though the Warcraft III community was really nice.

Silkroad Online for me (play it only 5-6 times/month)
It's free, that's a big plus for me because I only play it now and then.

Should have included more options
I love MMO's but somewhere i grew up a bit and realized that i am way to influenced by them, they take control of my life totally. I would love to be able to just casually play MMO's but i cant, if i start i have to be best, and best in MMO's most of the times mean spending most time playing. Which i end up doing.
So yeah, MMO's are great and i've given some of them alot of my life but i dont play em any more

I used to play MMORPG's but i failed a few classes back when i used to play MMORPG's so i stopped playing them ... I like them but their just too addictive you feel like you have to compete with others to keep up or be better so your on there all the time then you lose track of life ... its better just to stay away from those types of games unless you wanna be a bum for the rest of your life. I prefer games that dont require you to play an endless amount of hours so you could play on a flexible scedule (IE: anything without saved stats online)

none of these options:
have never paid for an mmo,
have played ultima online, runescape, ragnarok, but always either free betas or private servers.
right now i m playing guild wars, the first rpg i ever paid for on pc, i know its not really an mmo,
but that even makes it better.
mmorpgs are a big waste of time, i prefer a quick fun round of cs source, you can always drop that again and do other stuff.
