I was just wondering if anyone has been able to successfully run this game. The instructions in the .nfo are as follows...
Û 1 Unpack it.
Û
Û 2 Mount with D-Tools 4 and install.
Û
Û 3 Use CD2 to play.
Û
Û Five step alcohol to blindwrite conversion so MiRROR does not need
Û to bother releasing yet another useless proper:
Û
Û 1 Mount the alcohol clone in daemon tools or alcohol.
Û
Û 2 Start BlindWrite 4.5.7 or any newer version and make an image with
Û nibble mode and enable subchannel reading.
Û
Û 3 When ask to read topology data select YES.
Û
Û 4 Open the Alcohol mds file with dpmv.exe and convert the mds file
Û to a bwa file.
Û
Û 5 Burn the clone with BlindWrite.
I'm able to successfully install the game however burning CD2 is the problem, i have BlindWrite 4.5.7 and am unable to find the 'enable subchannel reading' option, also the program does not ask me to read topology data. Can anyone help me solve this please?

Doesn't seem anyone is able to help... or maybe my question is so insanely stupid it's not worth replying too... in any case i have a small update on the situation. I'm able to get the game to boot but after it loads when it tries to access the in game menu i get asked to insert the CD... i'm puzzled. Please.. somebody.... anybody... help!

i've had heaps of probs with this too. I can get the game to load start menus but then it asks for the real game 2 disc.
To get it it to work I think I have to yank out the secondry ide channel cables or get blindwrite 4.5.7 and follow the instructions, later versions of blindwrite are too automatic.
It's almost worth buying the game rather than stuff arse around with this clone, but the game is aparently not much of an improvement over the original.

game doesnt work here either tried all their methods nothing i think Mirror should release a proper version because this one is crap.

I got it to work like this.
Disconnect from internet.
Go to Device Manager >DVD/CDROM drives. right click on your cdrom click Disable
Mount cd2 with DaemonTools v4.0
U or I can now play the game...
Works for me every time...
P.S. Keep Device manager open if U like so u can Enable the CDROM after u finish playing your game.No rebooting to enable or disable the CDROM drive..And it Safe..

Well, I git it to start now for the first time but after the intro of the game the game asks me for the CD again and it won't work.

Downloaded the new proper iso of the game and mounted the 2nd CD with deamon tools 4. Still the same problem, game runs until you get to the main menu, then it stills asks for the cd.

I see that there is yet another release out now, this time one with a cracked executable. This one might work, will download it tomorrow and let the rest of you know.

Unbelievable, same thing with the cracked .exe still asks for CD just before you get to the main menu. Has anybody been able to play this game? really play it, not just watch the intro like I have been able to.

Check HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sidhe\RugbyLeague2\CDROM with regedit and change to match current virtual drive path. eg. E:\DATA\
