Anyone else playing this? I must say this is one of the most enjoyable games i´ve played in years. I was glued in front of my TV all night playing this. I´m 8 hours into the game so far and it´s amazing. The new Character really adds some depth to the game, who can resist Donald Duck meeting Jack Sparrow ie Smile I advice anyone who likes the Zelda-type games and Disney to check this one out, it´s even better than the first one!

Playing a rpg in japanese? No thanks.
I prefear to understand what the game is all about and what they are saying.

I tried it however, but I wasn't impressed. It felt very much like the first game and that was soso. But not understand a thing ads up to how I felt about the game. My final impression will come with the english version.

Are you kidding? The first one is like the best title ever on the Ps2 and the second one is even better. Damn, i´m lucky that i understand Japanese, i can read the text but i can´t make out what they say in cutscenes but that isn´t necessary so i can enjoy the game just by reading the text ^^

Kingdom hearts was highly overrated in my opinion. The battle camera was problary the worst I have ever experienced in any 3D action oriented rpg, and especially when fighting big bosses/monsters. I dont even understand how they could fuck up the camera that much.

Disney cartoon characters in the story? WTF!? Maybe if you're 12 thats considered engaging... Laughing

the gameplay from kh wasnt bad but the thing that moves an rpg was - the story.
you just cant play an rpg with a story directed at kids, no real twists there, nothing.
i m pretty sure kh2 is the same, so i ll skip this one, especialy now that mgs3 subsistence and neo-geo battle coliseum are out.

I dont have a problem with the story. It's a nice change from all those other super serious rpg's with a crapload of twists. I like rpg's that are non-serious and filled with alot of humor. But this seem to lack something else, but I dunno what, maybe it's just because it's in jap.
The camera was alot better in this btw, so that's a plus.
But like I said, I will make my final judgement about this game when I get to play the english version.
I remember that I though radiata stories was quite bad after a test run with the jap version, but when I finally played the english version I fell in love.

Did I say that? No, I said "maybe if you're 12..."

As in, a 12 year old would find that engaging, not everyone who plays it must be 12. Rolling Eyes

So I'm 12?
Because I happen to find disney very engaging. And so do most people I know, and most people I know are 27+, not 12.
And a score of 87% on gamerankings.com shuld give you a few hints too that it's not only me and my friends that likes disney and find it engaging.

I really hate when people put things in age categories, it's so fricking pathethic and childish.

Man, I'm jealous Elazul. I understand almost no Japanese and KH2 has been on my must-have list since it was announced. -sigh-

I don't care what the haters say, KH1 was an amazing game even if you absolutely hate Disney (and actually, I'm not far from that.)
