im not into religion myself though i practice some rituals because i found it was ditracting me from the Faith it associated it with. Unfortunatly ppl are misguided into thinking that performing some daily/weekly rituals will save ur soul, no point saving ur soul if u never new ur creator.

No doubt there is a supreme entity who created life as we know it. But I dont think its as complex as some make out.
What i mean is, I think whomever created the elements that support life, set the conditions in a vast space (universe) and let things workout how they will. Kinda like a craps game, roll the dice and see what happens.
I dont think we, being humans, were made directly by a god or the god etc Like i said, the conditions were set and we happened to get lucky and all the different probabilities fell into the right place.
To think God 'personally' created us is a little...far to egotistical and narrow minded to me.

There IS a God, creationism created him for creationism to work. The one who created creationism for there to be a God and for creationism to work is a mysterious Super-God. The Super-God was created by an Uber-God. Don't know who created the Uber-god, any ideas? (Preferably from a simple mind because I cannot comprehend anything as complicated as evolution.)

 I remember we had a discussion about that in one thread.
I think someone said something that the big bang created everything and that the big bang is proof god doesnt exist.
So I posed the question, who created or set the stage for the big bang? who created whatever created the universe? and who created them? and them? and so on...its fucked up.
Cause that really is a mind boggling question. If there is really a Supreme Being/Entity (i believe there is), how did It come into existence? I dont buy this "God has always been and always will be" shit.
Ive spend time thinking about that shit still and its such a fuckin trip. In a way, it kinda makes me doubt God...but at the sametime, it goes back my first question. Who created the Big bang? and who created whomever created the big bang?
It will suck if we dont find out the answers to these questions when we die. |

Not by chance at all. We can observe examples of evolution, there is evidence for it. There is no evidence for a big fat divine entity spewing forth organisms in their fully realised form.
Given an infinite amount of time, almost anything is possible.
The only people who believe in this crap are the uneducated, or those indoctrinated at birth.

No its not by chance... check out universal constants.. ie force/weight/ect of gravity/dark matter/matter/ect that have to be an exact value for the universe to exist..the odds for all these to have the exact properties they have all in the same universe is astronimcal
..for infinity to be the answer there would have to be infinite universes and so and so on.. therfore an infinite amount of more intelligent beings or whatever ..so and so on

as human beings we are only able to experience a glimpse of what in fact is the Universe, how can we, just with a glimpse begin to understand it?
one thing is the pursuit for an answer, another thing is to create an answer out of fairy tales and tell everybody else that it's a blasphemy to deny that answer because an almighty unseen being will punish us after we die, come on, we're smarter than that.
it's time to let go the fairy tale that so far has only bring death and war through out the world, and start to ask what is really going on out there.
