my cousin just got shoot in the chest by a f*cking carjacker.
what's worst is that all of this hapenned 2 blocks away from a police station, that never showed up, it was some couple that stopped after everything happened and toke him to a hospital, I can only say F*CK.
I don't know what will happen, I swear, if something happens to him I don't know what I'll do.
I'm totally out of control.
F*cking F*ckers!!

I don't know yet, my uncle is at the hospital, the doctors said nothing yet.
the couple that toke him to the hospital said that the hole seemed to be near a lung, and that he arrived conscious to the hospital, that's all I know.
I'm waiting for updates from my uncle.
I'm f*cking messed up

there weren't almost none a year ago, but this year it's just getting worser, specially in Lisbon and Porto.
one month ago there were some guys that stole a truck, drove it through a supermarket to stole a ATM machine, unfortunelly there was a police car around, and one officer was killed and the guys were able to escape, (I think one of them was arrested yesterday in Spain)
but basicly all those guys are going mad, and there is almost any line between a thief and a murderer, they are becoming all the same.

Its getting worst everywhere, poeple who are desperate and use exessive forces. a few years ago, 2 crackheads broke into my home to steal my stuff but thank god they got scared of my dogs but i wouldnt take teh chance that something like happen again when im alone with my daughter...so i bought a gun to defend myself, my daughter and my home. Some neighbours rat on me to the police that i have a gun so the cops raid my home and arrest me for having illegal possession of a fire arm.
So i explain the situation to the judge that i have this to protect my family and since crackheads doesnt need a liscence to break in and attack poeple...why should i have a liscence to have gun??...anyway the judge said Rambo is only a movie and sent me 6 months in jail for trying to protect my family.
We are living in a sick society where poeple get jail time for stealing a DVD player but poeple driving under the influence who killed someone do their jail time in the community

he's still in a critical condition, the doctors said that the bullet went trough the lung and was stored very near of his spinal column and that he lost a large amount of blood.
they said that for now the only think to do is wait, but they said that even if shows signs of recovery he will probably lose is lung and stay in artificial life suport for at least 2 more weeks.
thank you all

yeah, but our insurance companies are very rigid and expensive.
he only had insurance against accidents basicly.
what happen to the car was fault of the driver, even the car being stolen the insurance will not cover.
I have a friend in the police, I 'll talk to him and see if there's a way around.
at least not everything is bad news, my uncle called me saying that my cousin is awake and manage to say a few words, is still in a great pain, but we think he is recovering.

Portugal is indeed a great place, the only problem is that the current goverment is f*cking the country, they are spending billions of euros in new airports and new TGV lines, and our social security is full of debts, an unemployed person has to wait 10 months to start receiving from social security. life is becoming harder and harder, for instance the average paycheck is €500, currently you can't pay a house for less than €400, besides our IVA is currently at 21% of each product. Portugal was a Heaven, now thanks to this goverment is becoming Hell.
that's why we are suffering this wave of criminal activities, this has never happened in Portugal, is really a shame. what toke 100 years to build, this guys are destroying it in a matter of months

we do not need new airports, we don't need new TGV lines, we have 2 great Airports and we have a great public transportation system.
besides that, in the last 10 years the average unemployed rate was something between 1% and 2% of our population, this year 10% of Portuguese population is unemployed, companies are closing everyday due to the new IVA, nobody wants to buy anything when 21% is to the state
what the companies want is to pay the minimum paychewck possible, so, the portuguese people are unemployed and brasilian, ukranian, and african people are taking our place.
