 |
Long story short, I think my girlfriend is cheating on me and I think her main way of communicating with the guy is via her new laptop computer. I won't list the reasons why I think this because they are unimportant. However, I could use some help.
I'm looking for a bit of spyware/keylogger that fits at least some of the following criteria:
1) Something that will log keystrokes on her machine in a fairly decent and readable format.
2) I'd prefer something that I could hide on a disc that I give her and would install automatically when she inserts the disc in the computer to install other software (she's using XP home). Obviously I'd like for it to install on the sly, be hard to remove, and not really show up anywhere.
3) Something that I can set-up before giving to her that will communicate back to me on a semi-regular basis. Daily, evertime she goes online, weekly, whatever. Emailing me the keylogs would be fine.
4) I wouldn't be opposed to something that would let me see what's hapening on the screen in realtime or something that lets me take partial control of her computer. The only consideration is that neither her nor I use internet access with a static IP.
Thanks for your help and suggestions.

http://www.blazingtools.com/bpk.html maybe?
as for point 2. Its better to instal it on your own if you are behind her pc. Second, she has home edition, some programs require adminrights. If her account doenst have adminrights then there is now way to install it secretly. You have to be behind the computer.

Right destination, wrong road..
Setting up a Keylogger on her machine would allow you to find out what she has been typing, but it does have its draw backs, gaining access to her machine, her OS, her finding the software and figuring out what it is. Personally, if I wanted to know what my girlfriend was doing behind my back (on a computer) I would "bug" her internet connection, not her computer. Setup a packet sniffer on her network to capture the information comming to and from her machine, this way you know EXACTLY whats being said, not just what she is typing. Again this has its draw backs, you do require access to her LAN (or persuade her to do this around your house, using your internet connection..)..
This method is more complex, but is less likely to get you caught and will provide both sides of the story..
Due to my ethics on the subject, I wont help or provide you with links, it is my opinion that such knoledge should be earned through an understanding of computers/networks. There are many comercial products on the market which may provide you with what you need.. google is your friend..
I hope you don't find what your looking for (in the girlfriend sense..) lets hope your simply being a jealous boyfriend.. good luck.
